Opening hours
You can drop off your checked baggage at the self-service drop-off points or at the check-in desks. If self-service drop-off points are available at your airport, you'll find them near the check-in desks.
The opening hours at most airports are:
- European flights: drop-off until 40 minutes before departure.
- Intercontinental flights: drop-off until 60 minutes before departure.
At some airports, the self-service drop-off points and check-in desks might open or close earlier. Check the airport website for detailed opening hours. Please note: the closing time for drop-off is also mentioned on your boarding pass.
There might be a queue at the self-service baggage drop-off points and check-in desks. Therefore, we recommend that you arrive at the airport on time. Make sure to be there at least 2 hours before departure when your first flight is within Europe or at least 3 hours before departure of an intercontinental flight.
